New for SXSWedu 2017, we are excited to introduce performances to take place throughout the event, March 6-9, 2017. The performance series will offer attendees the opportunity to experience and reflect on the value of performing arts as vehicle for deeper learning. The series will showcase performances from theatrical groups, literacy development programs, music groups and more.

The Paramount Story Wranglers are the professional performance ensemble of the Paramount Academy for the Arts. The primary focus of the Paramount Story Wranglers is bringing the stories of Austin 3rd graders to life through professional musical, sketch and improvised performance.
Rapport Studios presents: Soul Science Lab and Friends

Soul Science Lab (SSL) is a Brooklyn, NY based music and multimedia duo that translates stories into soul stirring sounds and dynamic visuals. SSL was formed by artist, educator and creative director, Chen Lo, and multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Asante’ Amin. With a focus on high quality, timeless music, SSL designs innovative arts education models and creates culturally responsive interactive experiences. In addition to international touring, SSL’s current projects include the orchestral, interactive documentary Soundtrack ‘63 and their newly released interactive album, “Plan for Paradise.”
