Program Highlights: Explore Popular Topics on the Schedule

Written by Jessica MacCall | January 4, 2017

The new year has arrived which means that the seventh annual SXSWedu Conference & Festival is just around the corner, March 6-9, 2017. As March approaches, we'll be serving up bite-sized highlights from the program to help you discover content and topics of interest.

Today's highlights include some of the most popular topics on the program, filtered through the lens of event tags.

As a little bit of context, event tags are terms identified by the session's organizer that are intended to help clarify the focus of that session or event. Each session is limited to a maximum number of three event tags. While these are a great tool for navigating through the program, they are not all encompassing.

In addition to browsing sessions by event tags, browse the schedule by:

  • Tracks - one of the sixteen thematic tracks that generally aligns with the idea of the session or event at a high level (for example: equity, instruction and special needs are all track types)

  • Format - this represents the structure and presentation style of the session or event (for example: workshops, meet ups and summits are all format types)

  • Speakers - there are hundreds of speakers scheduled for SXSWedu, browsing the schedule by speaker name is also an option (for example: Christopher Emdin, Sara Goldrick-Rab and Tim Ferriss are a few names worth dropping)
