Ten education startups took the stage at SXSWedu 2017 yesterday to pitch their early-stage companies to a jury of education experts and live audience. We are thrilled to announce that Teachers Connect, The Graide Network and The Whether powered by Better Weekdays have been selected to advance to the final round of the competition.
The top three will compete today, March 8, in Salon D of the JW Marriott in the Launch Competition Showdown Round emceed by Rafranz Davis (Exec Dir of Professional + Digital Learning, Lufkin ISD) and Richard Culatta (Chief Innovation Officer, State of Rhode Island Office of Innovation). A handpicked group of judges with backgrounds in teaching, school leadership, business and investment will lend their expertise to select the winner. The competition will culminate this evening at the Launch Party & Winner Announcement starting at 7:30pm at Lustre Pearl.
