LAUNCHedu debuted at SXSWedu 2012, attracting significant energy and support as a catalyst for discovering whatʼs next and new in the evolving education landscape. In response to a dramatic increase in applicants, and the growth of the SXSWedu Conference & Festival at large, LAUNCHedu has expanded to feature 24 finalists in the competitionʼs second year.

Target-Rich Environment for Entrepreneurs
SXSWedu convenes thousands of forward-thinking education professionals and other interested stakeholders, including representatives from business and industry. Finalists for LAUNCHedu 2013 were evaluated and selected by the LAUNCHedu Advisory Board led by co-chairs, educational investment veterans Deborah Quazzo and Michael Moe of GSV Advisors.
