Key Judging Criteria in the LAUNCHedu Application Process

LAUNCHedu finalists will compete before a judging panel comprised of venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs and educators at SXSWedu March 4-7, 2012 in Austin, Texas. Winners of the competition will then be announced and celebrated at the LAUNCHedu Party on Wednesday, March 6.

Companies should note, the evaluation of each company will be based on many factors but here are the main elements the judges will be looking at when reviewing companies in the online application process.

  1. Creativity (Originality of Idea)
  2. Potential (Longevity, Actualization and Profitability of idea)
  3. Functionality (Usability of interface for idea)
  4. Team / People (Who is your team and how will they make your company a success?)

The deadline for startups to apply for LAUNCHedu is November 9.
