SXSWedu 2017, PanelPicker, Meet Ups and London

Like many of you, the SXSWedu team is busy digesting the amazing event that took place this March in Austin, Texas. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be reviewing all of the feedback from folks who attended and participated in the event. This feedback is vital and will help us continue to improve the SXSWedu experience for all as we move forward. Many of you have reached out with inquiries for 2017 ... we are thrilled to see enthusiasm for the event, it's never too early to start thinking about what's next! We hope you had as much fun as we did during SXSWedu 2016. It was an action-packed week full of discovery, insight, learning and networking. Per usual, there's no shortage of highlights to share. Education in the 2016 Presidential Election [VIDEO]

During the 2016 SXSWedu Policy Forum, Editor in Chief of The 74, Campbell Brown moderated a lively discussion about the role of education in the 2016 presidential election. She was joined by fellow journalists and analysts Jonathan Alter, Reihan Salam and Roland Martin to discuss the political impact of the Common Core, the importance of diversity in schools and how the educational system needs to change with the changing American economy.
