Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at SXSW EDU

Hispanic Americans and their ancestors have greatly influenced the history and society of the United States, and from September 15 through October 15, we celebrate the contributions, legacies and achievements of their rich culture and heritage. This year, we’re honoring Hispanic Heritage Month by looking back at Hispanic thought leaders who have taken the SXSW EDU stage.

We have put together a series of videos and audio recordings featuring sessions with powerful messages that continue to inspire and motivate us as we work to improve the future of education. These sessions also underscore the pervasiveness of a dynamic and multilayered culture that is not defined by monolithic standards. Rather, the voices you will hear are an esteemed group of creatives who tackle issues that focus on community initiatives, equity & justice, and more.
