2024 Schedule Deep Dive: Creating Pathways for Neurodiverse Students

The betterment of learning for neurodiverse students is top of mind at SXSW EDU. Acknowledging and embracing the neurological diversity among students, thought leaders in education will be presenting their innovative solutions to create better learning environments for students to thrive through various formats at SXSW EDU 2024.

Look forward to Panels featuring a dynamic and diverse discussion offering multiple viewpoints on neurodiversity, short Solo presentations offering emerging ideas, and in-depth, instructional Workshops allowing hands-on learning activities to tackle better ways to support neurodivergent learners.

According to the American Association of Colleges and Universities, in the 2019 to 2020 school year, students aged three to 21 receiving special education services, comprised 14% of the population in public schools. Within that statistic, students with neurodevelopmental conditions were the largest category.
