Cynthia Burrow
Owner, Strategic Education Solutions
- I've been providing research, development, and program evaluation services to public and private education entities for 20-plus years. I'm also the proud mom of a recent high school graduate with autism whose successes and challenges inform my work to help self-advocates live independent, full lives.
- This year, I'm making it the "SXSW EDU of yes!" I want to meet as many different folks doing as many cool things in education as possible and have fun while doing it.
- I'm casting a wide net with an eye toward diversity and innovation. I'm particularly interested in sessions that place the microphone in the hands of the learner.
Dr. Kari Stubbs
SVP of Business Development, Stages Learning
- I am a lifetime educator with experience that spans classroom, corporate, doctoral work and board service.
- Stages Learning is bringing a team to SXSW EDU this year to learn, grow, and connect with like minded individuals who are passionate about supporting autistic students.
- In assembling my SXSW EDU schedule, I focused on sessions that examine autism, neurodiversity and related special education themes. I'm thrilled to see these important issues taking a prominent role in this year's programming.
Tracy Coffin
CEO, 504U College Admissions Counseling
- I get it because I've got it; Dyslexia. I've dedicated my career to prepare students with learning differences for success in college and beyond.
- My goal for SXSW EDU is to encourage conversations about equity to include learning differences, mental health, and medical challenges.
- I try to schedule sessions that will help me extend the conversation about equity to include neurodiversity.
