For SXSW EDU 2027, programming will be held in the Hilton Austin, JW Marriott, and Austin Marriott Downtown. Hilton Austin

In addition to the programming available across all venues, the Hilton is home to SXSW EDU Featured Sessions, the Podcast Program, Fireside Chats, and Roundtable Discussions.
JW Marriott
A new venue for 2027, the JW Marriott will be home to SXSW EDU Keynotes, making it the perfect place to kick off your day. It’s also one of two venues hosting Fireside Chats, giving attendees another opportunity to engage with thought leaders in a more intimate setting. When you’re not in session, step outside to explore some of Austin’s best restaurants, cafés, and nightlife, all just a short walk from the hotel.
Austin Marriott Downtown
Do you like to get your morning walk in, no matter where you are? The Austin Marriott Downtown is just across the street from the beautiful Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. This venue is home to the SXSW EDU Expo, Competitions, and Film program, along with Mentor Sessions and a selection of Roundtable Discussions. It’s a great place to discover new ideas, make connections, and experience the energy of SXSW EDU. Plus, end your day with a view at their rooftop bar, or walk just five minutes to the Congress Bridge and watch as the Congress Avenue Bats emerge for the evening.
