Reservation Agreement
SXSW will charge a $100 processing fee for reservation changes (including cancellations) that shorten the length of stay when changed within 28 days of arrival.
A $5/per night non-refundable housing service fee will be charged at the time of booking.
Hotel Reservation Policy:
- Valid credit card required to guarantee reservation. (If the credit card on file will expire prior to the check-in date, guest is responsible for updating payment information.)
- If the credit card on file does not belong to the guest occupying the room, a method of pre-payment needs to be arranged directly with the hotel within 7 days prior to arrival.
- An early departure fee of $225 will be charged by the hotel if the reservation is reduced in length of stay after check-in.
Hotel Deposit & Cancellation Policies:
- The hotel will charge a deposit equal to first night’s room and tax in late February for room reservations. If the credit card used to guarantee the room is different from the card to be used for the deposit, please provide the new number to SXSW Housing prior to February 7, otherwise we cannot guarantee the hotel will charge the new card number. (Please arrange a method of pre-payment with the hotel within 7 days of arrival.)
- Guests who no-show or cancel within 7 days of their scheduled arrival will forfeit their deposit. If a deposit has not been processed, the hotel will charge a penalty equal to the first night’s room and tax to the guest’s credit card.
