Discover Ways to Participate at the SXSW EDU Learning Expo

The Learning Expo is a high-energy experience with a multitude of ways to get involved. Taking place March 5-6, 2018, The Learning Expo features more than a hundred exhibitors, student performances, a student startup competition, and opportunities for personal and professional development through session programming and coaching.

Designed to encourage and inspire learners of all ages to identify and reach their education and career goals, The Learning Expo is a community event. Attendees range from students (pre-k through college), parents, counselors, K-12 teachers, college/university educators and administrators, education focused organizations, along with the unique SXSW EDU community.

Exhibitions are a great way to showcase your organization or demo a product. The student startup competition gives Central Texas high school students the opportunity to deliver brilliant business pitches for a cash prize. If you or someone you know is a mentor, the Learning Expo hosts college & career coaching for student attendees. We're also calling all student performers to apply to perform on stage at the Learning Expo.

Exhibitions: The Learning Expo features a number of dynamic spaces that encourage attendees to discover and learn. Enter your organization to connect with education professionals and students.

Student Startup competition: All Central Texas high school students are eligible to apply,December 4 through January 26. Finalists will pitch their business idea for a chance to win a cash prize.

College & Career Coaches: Are you a professional or college student within the community? Apply to share your insights and expertise with student attendees on their future plans and goals.

Student Performances: Talented young learners, musicians, comedians, dancers, and singers will be selected to perform on stage at the Learning Expo.

The two-day event is unique with the first day open only to SXSW EDU registrants and the second day free and open to the public.
